My cousin got married back in August and I just realized I still have the card I meant to send her (with a check) here on my desk. I also never sent my mother’s birthday present. Also from last August. I’m either failing miserably at being a responsible adult or completely apathetic – or both!

Ask me if I care? At present I so totally don’t.

However I do have deep desire to organize my closet, bedroom, kitchen, etc. and throw tons of things out. Just de-clutter and disconnect from all this *stuff.* And get a new down comforter to go with my wonderful new duvet (pale-pale green with embroidered flowers, so “country-ish” I’m shocked I bought it. No, it’s more shabby chic actually. Oh, and word to the wise, ONLY purchase home wares at places like TJ Maxx and Ross. Were else can you get 300+ threadcount for $20?)

So I want to get “rid” of stuff but I don’t want to “take care” of stuff. How very typical.

And I also wish to acquire some stuff – in the form of Halloween decorations for office and home. And candy corns.

I’ve got crap to do, I think, here at work but I’m 110% mentally committed to browsing “stuff” online and procrastinating. Uh well. Why fight it.
