I’m not a kid anymore…so what made me think that three, or maybe it was four, Stella Artois, one Car Bomb and three, or maybe it was four, shots of Belvedere would have no adverse effect on my ability to feel human this Tuesday morning? Hm??

Yes, Monday Night Football is back. McCabe’s Irish Pub is quite pleased no doubt – the bill was $140 (for FOUR people, no food either.) It may have been a pre-season game, but our drinking was definitely NOT pre-season quality.

In my one smart move of the evening I quit early and decided to meander (ok, I drove) the six blocks to our house. What? It’s LA, think I’d walk? (Kidding, normally I walk, but I didn’t want to leave my car there.) The husband and friend’s continued on to parties and bars unknown. I’ve no idea how they do it.

So I went home and pigged out on some sushi, two English muffins slathered in butter, and one glass of wine. I just don’t know when to say when. Then I danced around listening to my iPod (a.k.a. The Love of My Life.)

This morning? Mmm. Yes. Feel like hell, thanks for asking.

Oh, but I have SHORT hair now! I love it!!! Although since so much weight is gone from it ‘tis now very curly as well – a tad Shirley Temple-ish. Much better than the perma-bun, pony tail, or braids I usually sported because I couldn’t handle the hair Always in My Face. It’s now styled and lovely and moves and is cool.

My passport finally came back. I was a little miffed at first because it didn’t seem to have changed, the old stamps where still there (yeah!!!) but the name was the same. It took me a while (see list of booze consumed above) to realize that the name was changed in the *back* of the passport. Seems odd, but whatever. Maybe with the number of divorces it’s simply cheaper for them to amend the back. Probably a smart move, come to think of it.

And now I really need to get some more Asprin.
